Therapy with Dylan
Feminist, LGBTQIA+ Affirmative Therapy & Clinical Supervision

Why choose therapy with Dylan?

Dylan Cimbura-Hernandez
LMFT #120829
You are interested in examining how and why you relate to the world the way you do and you are seeking to make some changes that make life a bit easier for yourself.
I specialize in working with women and non-binary clients navigating the complexities of their own identities through a social justice lens. I help clients explore personal healing, boundary setting, and relationships while acknowledging the larger societal structures, empowering them to create meaningful change in their lives.
Male identified individuals are welcome to seek healing in my practice with the knowledge that they are working with a feminist therapist who is actively working herself and to empower others to dismantle patriarchy.
You focus on pleasing others and it leaves you feelings overwhelmed and you struggle to ask for help.
I help people put an end to people-pleasing behaviors, bending over backwards for others, and wishing others would do the same for them. Together we can work to build your self-esteem, assert boundaries, and feel empowered to express your needs and wants, leading you to your most authentic and embodied self. I do this by helping you identify childhood wounds, core beliefs, systemic oppression, and personal environmental factors that contribute to your pain. Then we work to create self-compassion, community, confidence, and the life you want. You are not alone in these feelings, and you do not need to live this way.
You are a therapist seeking therapy.
Behind every great therapist is another great therapist! I am experienced and enjoy working with other therapists.
You are looking for a therapist who understands your cultural experience.
For clients who are looking for a therapist who understands their cultural experience, I am a Latinx, pansexual therapist who recognizes she passes as white, is in a heterosexual marriage, and the privilege that comes with that.

Good Faith Estimate Statement: You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. The Estimate must be furnished within one business day of scheduling a service to be provided in three business days, or within three business days of scheduling a service to be provided in at least 10 business days. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
